Brazil, land of carnival ...
The phrase is hackneyed and worn as stones by the "cachoerias" but worth it.
On our trip we visited Brazil three places and were chronologically, Ilha Grande, Buzios and Rio de Janeiro. We can say we went from the purest and lonely toward the densest and tumultuous nature bustling city. Three completely different from each other places, both from the landscape as perceptive. Three different universes within the same galaxy, three different worlds for our simple way of understanding, we would choose the virginity of Ilha Grande and again, to explore, to discover and, more than anything, forever discover and once again ourselves...
When averaged mean either a Sunday morning our plane landed in Rio de Janeiro. Galeao Airport. Lowering the feeling of fulfilling the role of Richard Moore skin 007 I stood in my mind, I venture to say that the wall tiles are filmed in those same scene, witnesses airports without control ... I thought it was just an impression.
From there drive to Jacareí do Conceicao, a small town on the Atlantic which offers the shortest sea route to the island. 40 minutes by boat sufficed couple cover travel and put us on the dock of a village that one receives with the view of a small pink church facing the sea, probably for fishermen feel more protected from the storms and blessed by the miracle of the loaves and fishes , when entering the cove actually saw "maravilhoso" ...
Streets with total absence of cars and beaches that reach the threshold of coastal houses we have a place of dreams.
The night was lit for a romantic filled it full of moonlight and shone the moon bay our evening walks for any seaside restaurant for dinner and a caipirinha, whatever they choose to eat will be fine.
The new day we lit the faces of the window of our simple yet sufficient inn. And we went out after the typical Brazilian breakfast, trails to conquer the island in search of the greatest treasure, Lopes Mendes ...
It ranked as one of the best beaches in Brazil, was not an exaggeration of marketing, was the purest truth, expecting us three hours walking through the hills of steep slopes and dense vegetation that overwhelms but the landscape and physical exertion make one distill as an alembic through the pores all the energy and joy of living an unforgettable holiday.
As I recommend this path I can also do the same with the waterfall of Feiticera (one hour walk), Feiticera beach (30 minutes later the waterfall), boardwalks are all recommended, "arround the Island," " middle Island, "" Ensenada of the stars "," blue Lagoon "," green Lagoon, wich finally choose will be fine, like as the pues on the beach.
For those who believe in the energies
I will relate an energetic meeting. Road to Lopes Mendes, at the top of the first hill point, since one can appreciate a magnificent view of the cove Abrão, also that day was decorated wi by the arrival of a Great Cruise, two women recommend us to go up steps more the true highest point so we can take some excellent photographs without the impediment of vegetation that could hamper our landscape photo. The talk was short but full of an endearing kindness, our English as much as theirs denoted that was not our mother tongue, they kept, we stayed to enjoy the very good advice. On reaching the village of Las Palmas, we meet again, where I appreciate the fact to climb a little more to better appreciate the scenery ... That was enough for us to realize that the four had found two more friends! Lena and Lana, two Russian friends, from Ekaterinburg, the same place where are my friends Tania and Roman, instead of where I keep cherished memories of love and friendship, a place so dear !!!
The night found us together at dinner by the sea and singing on the balcony of his inn songs in Russian and Spanish, exchanging musical authors, Erika and Lana sweeten the air with their voices! A magnificent starry night, full moon and happy hearts to discover new souls with whom to share experiences, feelings and songs. The music of them was accompanied by the gentle waves that vanished in the Costa rocking the boats of fishermen as a crib with many children sleeping in the heat of the houses in the coastal town ... I believe in the power of lhasa people, I believe in the energy of moments, everything is physics and chemistry.
5 days in Ilha Grande to move to the continent to continue discovering new landscapes. From there to Buzios.
Buzios is almost a colony of Argentina. It is almost more Spanish speaking in Portuguese. The beaches of the city does not have a lot of beautiful, we must make a few kilometers to meet Arraial do Cabo, a small town where you can visit sandy beaches as fine as flour, clear water and warm which made it worth worth reaching the area. Trails through the hills that serve as forums for views of daydreams. Town where propose to base the next time ...
After four days in Buzios our tour comes to Rio.
Reputed to be the wonderful city, joy and world economic development outweigh reality. The poverty of the periphery smite our retinas, homeless everywhere and people begging tell us it is not so wonderful, it is not so cheerful and that development is not in the pockets of those people and instead accumulate in some few ... the "Cidade Maravilhosa" was surely among the 30 given by the rich architecture "art Deco", probably during the 70 tiled outside their buildings, but now there are only skyscraper in the Barra de Tijuca to a good distance from the crowded city, lest that poverty is contagious ...
Typical landmarks of Rio are postal fantastic, the Corcovado with Christ Redeemer, Sugar Loaf with its cable car, with its fringe of Copacabana and Ipanema with wavy drawing garotas make that's all ... Postcards, nothing more .. .
Herbert Vianna says it perfect and efficient in its description in a few words in the song "Flooded" 90s, foreshadowing that this is always the same for developing countries lose ...
... "Every day dawn light challenges us
after sleep to the world that nobody wanted
shantytowns, rags,
children of the same agony
And in the city,
with open arms postcard,
with clenched fists real life
He denies them opportunities
It shows the hard face of the sea
flooded, trenchtown, favela da mare
I hope not in the sea
or TV antennas ...
the art of living with faith
and without knowing faith that ...
